Cleaner / Janitorial Technician

At Klean-Rite DKI, our Cleaners and Janitorial team play a vital role in keeping homes and businesses safe, clean, and welcoming. From daily cleaning and detailed sanitizing to helping restore spaces after unexpected events, your work directly impacts our clients and community.

This is hands-on, physical work that matters. One day you may be cleaning and maintaining commercial or residential spaces, and another day you may be part of a team helping bring a property back to life after water or fire damage. No two days are the same, and every shift ends with the satisfaction of seeing real results.

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy being part of a supportive team. The work can be demanding and sometimes unglamorous—but it’s meaningful, steady, and appreciated.

What You’ll Do

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash floors like the floor-whisperer you are.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms (yes, even the mirrors — we like to keep those streak-free).
• Empty garbage, recycling, and compost, making waste disappear like magic.
• Dust, wipe, and shine high-touch surfaces until they look brand new.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and partitions so clear people might walk into them (please warn them).
• Restock the essentials — paper towels, toilet paper, soap — so we’re never caught short.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues before they become “uh-oh” moments.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely — we’ll train you to do it right.
• Occasionally tackle big cleaning projects like carpet shampooing or floor waxing.

What You Bring

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is great — but if you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll train you!
• A sharp eye for detail and pride in a job well done.
• The ability to work on your own or as part of our awesome team.
• Physical stamina for bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing for long periods.
• WHMIS certification and a valid driver’s license are nice-to-haves — training available if needed.
